MARCH 2I, I973 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 9 RECREATION NEWS Ontario Municipal Recreation Association ~- Northwestern Ontario Conference: The Ontario Municipal Recreation Associa- tion, in conjunction with other agencies such as Youth and Recreation Branch, Confederation College, etc., will be sponsoring a Northwest- ern Ontario conference in Thunder Bay on April meth, 7th and Sth. This is the first conference to be held for all Northwestern Ontario and it is hoped that people who are genuinely concerned with Recre- ation in Northwestern Ontario will make an attempt to attend. There will be representa- tion from the Provincial Government at this conference as well as other guest speakers from the Youth and Recreation Branch and the Department of Education. It appears that some form of subsidization will be offered; however, at this point it has not yet been determined.
