PACE 6 TERRACE BAY NEWS MARCH 7, I973 RECREATION NEWS Terrace Bay Minor Peewees Advance to Finals: By virtue of Terrace Bay's win over Marathon on Saturday, March 3rd, the Terrace Bay Minor Peewees will now ad- vance to the finals against Manitou- wadge. The final playoff schedule is as follows: Saturday, Mar. 10th - 5:30 p.m. at Manitouwadge Sunday, Mar. IIth - 1:00 p.m. at Terr- ace Bay Sunday, Mar. I8th - I2:30 p.m. -essary) in Manitouwadge. The second game of this 2-out-of-3 series will be played in Marathon with the third game, if nec- essary, being played in Terrace Bay. Date and time of the 3rd game will be posted at the Recreation Centre and | arena. Girls Ringette Games a Big Success: on Sunday, February 25th, both the junior and senior girls Ringette teams travelled to Red Rock to take on their first opposition of the season. Both teams put on excellent showings before a fairly average crowd. The junior of I4-5, with the senior team almost duplicating the above performance with a score of 12-4. All in all, the,girls enjoyed themselves greatly, with hopes of playing future games against Red Rock in Terrace Bay and Manitouwadge. Yoga Course: Mr. John Ebbs of Confederation College will be visiting the Terrace Bay Recreation Office shortly to out- line future plans on the Yoga Course. All local people who indicated an in- terest in this course will be contact- ed by the Recreation Office to inform them of further plans for this pro- gramme. If you are interested in tak- ing a Yoga Course, but have not sub- mitted your name to the Recreation Office, you may still do so by calling 3542.
