Minutes were adopted as read. Cor- respondence included a letter from the Schreiber-Terrace Bay Search and Res- cue Unit, advising Council of the for- mation of the Unit. It is comprised of interested citizens organized with an executive and a Board of Directors for business functions; a field unit, under the direction of an Area Command- er and a Deputy Area Commander, con- sisting of patrol leaders, patrol seconds, searchers, with one field unit complete from each community; & an Advisory Council to aid and guide unit activities. M. Purvis is the President. A thank you note was read from Mrs. M. Dashkewytch, Secretary of the Terrace Bay Junior "B" Team, for a donation of $50.00. Pinewood Court, District Home for the Aged Board, advised Council of the schedule of levies for Municipalities for the 1973 budget. A preliminary budget was presented to Council by the Lake Superior Board of Education, one quarter, approxim- ately based on last year's estimate being $I0I,000, payable by March Ist. The Service Employees Union agree- ment was ratified. The Police Constable's agreement vas ratified. I.B.M. in Thunder Bay will be TEN DAYS FOR WORLD DEVELOPMENT March 9 - 19th, 1973. The C.E.C. Program "Man Alive" will be presenting "How Long Does It Take A Tree to Grow Here" on Monday, March 12th. Please watch the film, action and help. then take WORLD DAY OF PRAYER The Community Church ladies hosted the World Day of Prayer this year, on Friday, March 2nd, with the ladies of St. Martin's Roman Catholic Church as special guests, as well as taking part in a truly Ecumenical service. Mrs. Lundberg, as President of the Ladies Auxiliary, welcomed the ladies, and led in the reading of the first part of the service. Mrs. G. Ramsay, President of the Catholic Women's League, was also a leader, with Mrs. M. Kennedy, Mrs. J. Schritt, Mrs. B. Pytyck and Mrs. R. McBride as readers. Mrs. C. Buck was at the organ. Mrs. P.
