He had been past presi- dent of the Port Arthur Riding Assoc. and was the Progressive Conser- vative candidate in the Provincial election of I967 for the Thunder Bay riding. He was a life member of Port Ar- thur Lodge AF and AM No. 499, member of Shuniah Chapter Rhodes Precep- tory, a life member of the Khartum Temple and the Thunder Bay Shrine Club. He is survived by his wife Esther and one daughter Lorraine at home; father, Emil Seppala, two sisters Mrs. Mary McDonald and Mrs. Laura Goodfellow, Thunder Bay. He was predeceased by his mother Maria in I95I. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Richard Smith of Immanuel and Zion Lu- thern Churches with interment in Riverside Cemetery, Thunder Bay. Among those who attended the funeral in Thunder Bay were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Legault, Mr. and Mrs. Romeo Bouchard, Mr. and Mrs. W. Schelling, Floyd Harnden, Ronald Lan- igan, Chas. W. Todesco, and Mrs. and Mrs. Herb Legault of Rossport.
