TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT A total of thirty-six occurences were investigated by this department during the week October 22nd - 29th. Twenty-one motor vehicles were spot checked for ment repaired. for faulty equipment, cautioned and to have equip~ Four transients were checked through Criminal records, One case of mischief is under investigation. A local resident had his tires slashed and damage was estimated at $80. : One break and entery involving a quantity of liquor being stolen from the local Legion is under investigation. A report of forgery and uttering was reported to police and a local resident was interviewed with regard to this, GOLDEN EAGLE VISITS LOCAL SCHOOLS A golden eagle which had apparently been injur- ed by being shot by a pellet gun was found at the Schreiber dump and taken to the Terrace Bay office of the Ministry of Natural Resources. cont'd pg.7...
