The town of Whitby's resolution re Bill 90, Provin- cial Incentive Plan and construction of new arenas, was also endorsed. Council supported the request of the Thunder Bay Health Unit for provision of Travel Insurance cover- age for Board members. : : The application of the local By-Law Enforcement Officer was tabled for further discussion. In answer to the Women's Institute regarding rail - ings on stairs in and out of the town hall, councils stated indoor stairs are provided with railing and ones for the outdoor steps are on order. It was decided not to sell to a local resident, lot 71, Ethel St. at the present time. A letter from the Ministry of Environment recom- mended several procedures, some of which have al- ready carried out by the Water Works Department. The Health Inspector reported on routine checks done in town on chlorine residuals.
