The five and six year old group watched a movie Thursday morning entitled "That Mouse". There they roasted marshmallows over a blazing fire and played games until the time came to ride back to the Recreation Centre. Friday afternoon, the 7-9 year old boys and girls headed out to White Sand Lake for a swimming party. While there, Paul Dashkewytch was mercifully thrown into the lake by the leaders to save them from further forment. Later on that night, the 10-12 year old girls brought their gear for a sleep~-in at the arena. The night (and a great deal of the early hours of the morning) passed before the girls and the leaders finally settled down to sleep. Next morning, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, they all headed for the Imperial Rest- aurant for breakfast. Earlier in the week, John Brooks instructed the 10 years and over group in track and field, and Mrs. Middaugh taught the older girls the basics of macrame. Special thanks to the resource people, and also the parents who drove the children back and forth from the beach on Friday. TERRACE BAY Town Topics Cp! .
