The Board approved the working drawings and specifications for the heating plant conversion at the Lake Superior High School, Terrace Bay Campus, as prepared by W.L. Wardrop and Associates Ltd. They also approved the sketch plans dated July 5, 1972, for the addition and alterations to the Terrace Bay Public School, prepared by Graham- Bacon Architects. The following policy regarding the shared use of facilities in Terrace Bay was approved: Use of the Terrace Bay Campus facilities by the Terrace Bay Recreation Department and use of the Terrace Bay Recreation facilities by school groups will be on a reciprocal use basis. Where necessary, charges will be incurred by the user group if there is damage to facilities and/or equipment results, and if custodial service is required. Facilities available to the Recreation Department: Gymnasium and all appropriate equipment, various classrooms which would assist in conducting special community workshops, clinics and programs (i.e., art room, home economics room, etc.) Terrace Bay Recreation Department must provide supervision satis= factory to the Principal - the principal reserving the right to cancel the use of facilities and equipment if, | in his opinion, there is misuse or damage . Facilities available to the School Groups: Arena and all appropriate equipment, curling rink (Subject to further consideration by the local Curling Club who lease the facilities), meeting rooms, swim pool, tennis courts.
