SESS 22% x National Lifeguard Service Course: = The Recreation Office has received information on a National Lifeguard Service Course which will be held at the Thunder Bay "Y" from May 19th fo 22nd. Candidates must be 17 years of age and hold RLSS Bronze Medallion and Red Cross Leader. For more information on this course, call the Recreation Office at 3542. Ladies' "Keep Fit": = Session #2 for the Ladies Keep-Fit class will be held this Thursday, May 11th, af 7:30 p.m. Regis- trants for this programme should note THAT THE THIRD SESSION WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 17th, INSTEAD OF THURSDAY, MAY 18th. This change is due to the fact that the Tom Higgins Concert is being held on May 18th. Attend your sessions on time. Roller Skating - Starts on May 21st: - The roller skating programme will commence on Sunday, May 21st, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and will be held once weekly throughout the summer. If attendance warrants increasing the sessions, then additional sessions will be scheduled throughout the week. Cashiers and roller skating attendants will be re- quired for this programme. If you are interested in these positions, be sure to indicate your name and age to the Recreation Office. Persons filling these positions must be 15 years of age or over. Tennis Courts to Open this Weekend: - The tennis courts will be available to local tennis enthusiasts by this weekend, May 13th. Keys are available at the Recreation Office for $1.00. This | $1.00 is refunded to you whenever the key is re-= = turned. Tennis court keys are available to Recrea- tion members only. Some major repair work will be done on the fencing in the near future; however, the courts are presently in playable shape. When using the courts, be sure fo: (1) take extra care of the line tapes (2) use the waste container provided (3) report any damage to the Recreation Office (4) lock the courts when you leave If we are fo continue using the key system for tennis players, then your co-operation is essential . If tennis players do not co-operate in using the courts, then the Recreation Office will have no choice but to revert fo a more restrictive system which will be an inconvenience to tennis players.
