Mr. Ferrier introduced Dr. Adey, Chief - of - Medical Staff, who gave a comprehensive report on the needs, and shortcomings of the present hospital , and expressed some of the hopes and plans for improv- ing it. Dr. Adey admitted that the hospital had served the people fo the area well for a number of years, but felt that it needed to be modernized and up-dated. Frank Anderson presented a drawing of the present hospital showing the amount of land that has been giv- en to them by Kimberly = Clark, for the purposes of extension and improvement of the grounds. He stated that the 21-bed hospital was in need of a new heat- ing system and must be brought up to standards set by the Fire Marshal's office.
