"Two new members Shirley Opas and Geraldine Salesse were enrolled and welcomed into the defend- ing circle. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer's report was given. Thank you cards were read from Alice Werczynski and Clara Gould. Reports were given by standing committee 's Helen Almos, Sick and Visiting Chairman asked all co-workers to please get in touch with her if they hear of any member being sick in the hospital. Banquets were discussed and with the high cost of meat, vegetables, etc., all members were in favour of raising the price of roast beef and turkey dinners. Marilyn Benko's name was drawn to run for Carnival Queen and she will be sponsored by the _ Chapter.
