Bourguignon travelled to Thun- der Bay on the occasion of Mr.and Mrs. Frank Boons 25th wedding anniversary. Mr. A.B. (Muggs) McCuaig has returned from Bayson Quebec where he was born. It was his first visit there in fifty years. The Schreiber Figure Skating Club met on Satur- day, September 25th and have an enrollment of fifty to date. Skating will be every Monday and Thursday as soon as the ice is in. ROSSPORT TOWN TOPICS Everywhere one looks, there are hunters both Canadian and American. Some that are making their headquarters at Rossport are Lionel Hubelit, A. Miller and party from Wawa, Ont.; Ken Courtney, Red and Doug Foster of Oshawa; Geo. Bruley, Al McDevitt and Doug Baster of Thunder Bay. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gerow and son and Mrs. Frank Gerow of Thunder Bay were visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Mac Hubelit. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Legault returned Saturday from a holiday spent in Montreal, Washington, D.C, Newburn, S.C. and Detroit, Mich. Mrs. M. Schroeder and daughter Ella left Thurs- day for their home in Berlin, Germany, after spend- ing the past month with her son Henry and family. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Gerow, Peter and Cathy, and Mr. and Mrs. P. Testori motored to Orient Bay Sunday . Mrs. Mary Boudreau of Timmins, Ont. arrived Saturday to visit her daughter Mrs. Bill Hubelit and other relatives in the village and Terrace Bay. The Community Hall Committee held their fall meeting Tuesday evening with Mrs. Len lbey in the chair and Mrs. Esther Seppala reading the minutes, correspondance and presenting the finan- cial statement. It was reported that the new bingo cards had arrived. Hall maintenance was reviewed The annual meeting will be held in November with the date to be announced. Mrs. Dave Mushqush has returned from McCaus= land Hospital, Terrace Bay. Peter Mushqush and Brial Ray were Manitouwadge visitors on the weekend. Camillo Todesco of Nipigon visited Mr. and Mrs. C. Todesco recently.
