Father Alex Greengrass, uncle of the groom. Miss Brenda Lalonde was organist and Giovanni Cebrario soloist. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a juliet gown of silk organza over taffeta, with long full sleeves cuffed with shirred lace. The same venise lace edged the full skirt, the detachable train and was used as a neck ruffle above the net yoke. Pink ribbon was threaded through the lace at the waistline and around the train. Her bouffant veil was caught to a garland of re- embroidered daisies with brilliant centres and she carried a white prayerbook on which shirred lace held pink roses and lily of the valley, the long pink streamers knotted with rosebuds and lily of the valley. The bride had four attendants = Monica Gauthier, sister of the groom as maid of honor, Cathy McGrath, and Nancie Spillane, as bridesmaids and Teresa Cos- grove, niece of the bride, as flower girl. They wore similarly styled gowns of pink and white silk chiffon over taffeta. The white fitted bodices were enhanced by venise lace forming ring collars and in ruffles down the full length of the gibson sleeves. The long full skirts were in pink. The older attendants wore picture hats of white mo- hair with long pink streamers and carried bouquets of shasta daisies. The flower girl had flowers in her hair and carried a basket of pink and white flowers. Alex Gauthier, twin brother of the groom was best man, and Frank Commisso and Eric Handel, grooms- ment. The ushers were Butch Speziale and Michael Cosgrove, brother of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Gauthier will reside on Erie Street in Schreiber. For their wedding trip to the United States the bride donned a navy and white coat and dress, with red accessories and corsage of red roses. The wedding dinner was given in the town hall with Ernest McMullen as M.C. and the toast to the bride given by George Birch. Adding much to the happiness of the occasion was the presence of the groom's two grandmothers = Mrs. Harry Greengrass and Mrs. Albert Gauthier. Mrs. Greengrass chose a dress with matching topcoat of silk organza lined with figure material in pale blue, and Mrs. Gauthier an ensemble in mauve, both having white carnation corsages. For the reception which followed the dinner Mrs. Gauthier chose a white organza dress topped with a sleeveless coat in coral, white accessories and corsage of yellow roses. The bride's mother wore an ensemble in off white, beautiful bands of braiding used on both dress and full length coat, navy accessories and corsage of pink roses. Alex Gauthier, Eric Handel and Pat Handel hosted a stag in the groom's honor.
