ELVA RENNETTE LAID TO REST Funeral services for Mrs. Elva Rennette, who pass- ed away suddenly, at her home, on April 14, were held in St. Martin's Catholic Church, Saturday morning at 1 a.m., with Father A. Greengrass officiating. Mrs. Rennette, 53, was born in Pawassan, Ontario where she spent her early years. She moved to Schreiber in 1953, and resided in Terrace Bay for the past fifteen years. She is survived by her husband, Nick, five sons, Edward of Manitouwadge; Gerald, Scarborough, Kenny, Prince George; Fred and Reg at home; five sisters and one brother. Mrs. Rennette was a member of St. Martin's and the C .W.L. Friday evening the Recitation of the Rosary was given by members of the C.W.L. Pall bearers were Ted Mclnnes, Wilbert Neely, Tony Caranci, Garnett Pinkerton, Wilf Corrigan, and Clarence Mercier. , Honorary pall bearers were Dan McFadyen, Howard Solly, Cliff Barker and Stan Zwaresh. Interment took place in Terrace Bay Cemetery. Relatives from out of town attending were Mrs. Rennette's sisters = Mrs. Elma Insperger, Sarnia; Mrs. Florence Mathew, North Bay; Mrs. Brunette Toepper, Pawasson; Mrs. Millie Fenwick, Alora; Mrs. Ada Odresky, Trout Creek; brother, Boston Eckensviller, Mrs. Catharine Van Meirlo, Mrs. Dorothy Boudreau, Mrs. Gertie Holdforster, Mrs. D . REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS TOMORROW, THURSDAY APRIL 22ND. Registration fee of $1.00 per player to offset cost of prizes and trophies at end of league. In addition, all bowlers must be members of the Recreation Association. Members of the Terrace Bay Bowling Association will be assisting the Junior bowlers throughout this programme . Sign up at the SNACK BAR right away if you are interested. It is hoped that the regular schedule can | start this Saturday, April 24th. LADIES "KEEP FIT' CLASSES Ladies 'Keep Fit' classes will be starting on Thurs= day, April 29th, at the High School Auditorium. All © sessions will be from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. and the in- structor. for the class will be Sue Bulawka. Registration fee for the six sessions will be $2.00 for Recreation Association members and $3.00 for non-members. ALL REGISTRANTS SHOULD NOTE, THAT THEY MUST REGISTER AT THE RECREATION OFFICE PRIOR TO THURSDAY APRIL 29TH. By registering in this manner, more time will be devoted to the 'Keep Fit' classes, as opposed to registration for the first session.
