GUIDE NEWS During the months of February and March, the Guides were fortunate in having Miss Neldine West, of Charlotte's Beauty Spot give the girls tips on Good Grooming and Hair Care. Miss West cut and styled Cheryl Dejonghe's hair, and answered numerous questions on Good Groom- ing, a test that is required to be passed by the Guides. Also Miss Lorraine Dobush brought in her dog, Tawny Lass, for the "Friend to Animals Law". She paraded Tawny, and explained the training and judging to the Guides. They were delighted and enthrolled at the obedience shown by the dog. before so many people. The Guiders express their apprecia- tion to Mrs. Barbara Wise, Mrs. Thursa Thompson, Mrs. Edna Ramsay and Mrs. Irene Kettle for taking the Guides for Child Care and Home 1d place entries in the junior Nursing. Also thanks to Mrs. Jean Fisher, Mrs. Dorothy Coupal and Mr. Lorne McBride, who all hiked and made fires down at the Beach ' with the Guides, and Mrs. Mary Milks for her aid in sewing.
