A donation of ten dollars was made to the High School Student Council. Plans were made to install heavier wiring in the Church kitchen to accommodate another stove. Minutes and financial reports were adopted as read by Mrs. Inga Ellacott and Mrs. Flora Bryson. Mrs. Hazel Bailey presided. Volunteers perform more than 90 percent of the work done the Canadian Red Cross Society. HOLD MONTHLY MEETING Members of the Catholic Women's League, at their regular March meeting, were asked to have con- venor's reports ready fo present to Mrs. Penny Caccamo by the end of the month. The meeting opened witha Scripture reading by Mrs. C. Power. The correspondence, read by Mrs. R. McGrath, contained a letter of thanks from the Sacred Heart program for a donation sent. Mrs. L. Gagnon, Family Life Convenor, reported on the parish council meeting and that the Guides and Brownies are planning a tea in April . Father F.J. Meyer was welcomed by Mrs. Irene Moorey who presided for the meeting. Mrs. Power read an interesting account of the life of St. Joseph whose feast day is in March. Members agreed to continue their policy of doing no catering during the recess months of July and Aug There will be a guest speaker at the next meeting. The door prize was won by Mrs. Moorey and lunch and a social hour followed the meeting.
