Lapenskie, Social Action Convenor, reported that the canvass of old Christmas cards, greeting cards, empty spools and remnants of coloured wool for the Association for the Mentally Retarded, had been good and is still being continued. A box for this canvass will be kept in the vestibule of the Church. Mrs. Dashkewytch reported for Communications and: Public Relations, that on Monday, March 8th, on the T.V. program Man Alive, the CBC had a program en- titled "Servant of the Servants of God". It dealt with Vatican sequences. Mrs. Dashkewytch asked all those who had viewed this program, to write letters of appreciation to the CBC, Box 500, Toronto. * Mrs. M. Churney reminded members to keep saving Canada Packer labels, a box being in the vestibule of the Church for this purpose. The President appointed a Nominations committee of 3 members - Mrs. W. Corrigan, chairman, with Mrs. P. Malshewski and Mrs. R. Fournier. Mrs. D. Gillis and Mrs. B. Pytyck were appointed to audit the treasurer's books. Due to the fact that Easter is on April 11th this year, the general and annual meeting will be held on April 18th at 8 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Mrs. M. Anderson introduced Sister Paulette Hat- field, who presented a program on Canadian Cate- chism being taught in the schools. On the panel were Debbie Kujbida, Cindy Waghorn, Jim Kennedy and Richard Petrus, all Grade 8 students of St. Martin's, who outlined the program being taught in Grade 8. Mrs. W. Corrigan thanked Sister Paulette and the students on behalf of the members for coming out and explaining the Catechism program.
