Minor Hockey - cont'd from page 1 . Flyers were delivered door to door by Minor Hockey players this past week-end, reminding play- ers and parents as to when Registration Night will take place. The Minor Hockey Association insists that parents accompany their children when register- ing on Wednesday . Extra forms are available at the Recreation Office and will also be available at the Curling Loung to= night. : Be sure to register TONIGHT! LADIES VOLLEYBALL =- Based on a number of recent requests received by the Recreation Office, the Recreation Department is trying to determine how many Ladies would be interested in playing once weekly this winter. If you would be interested in playing Volleyball, leave your name at the Recreation Office. We need about a dozen players to get things started. Call the Recreation Office during the next two weeks to leave your name if you would be interested in playing. SEWING CLASSES - The Recreation Office is pres- ently accepting names for anyone interested in Sew- ing Classes. Persons who have called thus far are interested in advanced clesses.. In order to follow through with these plans, more names are needed. For more information, or to leave your name for the classes, call the Recreation Office soon. JUNIOR BADMINTON CLINIC - Registrations for the Junior Badminton Clinic have been closed as we now have enough players. The first session has been advanced to Saturday, Oct. 24th in order to have adequate instructors available for the first session. All players will be notified as to when they should attend their sessions. Juniors (10-12 years) will meet at the High School Auditorium from 10:00 = 11:00 a.m. and Seniors (13-15 years) will meet from 11:00 ~12:00 noon. The clinic is open to Recreation members only and a registration fee of 25¢ will be charged to help defray cost of birds. Friday, October 30th = Horticultural Society Social = Curling Club Lounge. Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Grant, of Repentigny, Quebec have been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Boudreau for the past week. Mrs. Grant the former Gertrude Bougie is Mrs. Boudreau's sister, and was Mill Nurse from February 1952 to September 1933.
