In addition to these many of the traditional courses have been updated and revised. Enrolment is 15% above last year with 246 students presently registered. Seventy-five of these students are from out of town, eleven of whom are boarding in Terrace Bay. These youngsters are able to have the special education this school offers because of the generosity of local citizens who have opened their homes to them. The staff has increased to twenty-one full time and part time teachers. New teachers whom we welcome to Terrace Bay High School are: - Mr. R.J. Kitto = from Almaguin Highlands Secondary School, South River; Mr. L.A. Kruger - from North Hastings High School, Bancroft; Mr. M. Purvis - from Laurentian University, Sudbury; Mr. AR. Stevenson - Kennedy Collegiate Institute, Windsor, Mr. N. Trach = Terrace Bay Public School, Terrace Bay and Mrs. M. Middaugh - of Terrace Bay, teach- 'ing an Art class. KEN HANLEY JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPION The Aguasabon Golf Club Junior.Club Champion- ship for the "Costa's" Trophy was held September 5th Twenty-two ardent local Junior golfers ranging in age from 9 - 16 participated in the club champion- ship played over 18 holes.
