McCuaig. | TRAIN DESPATCHERS HOLD GOLD WIND UP The C.P.R. train despatchers ended their annual golf tournament this year with a dinner in the Rest- aurant LeBlanc, bringing their wives, nine couples attending. Bill Stefurak was the M.C., jokingly reminded the players of some of their less than spectacular games, and in serious vein paid tribute to L.R. Tremblay past chairman, and Jim Armstrong the present chair- man for their ability in discharging their duties as 4 officers in the Transportation Communication Union. Fi rst Prize, in the first flight, was presented to Jim Gemmell and first prize in the Duffers' flight 'Jwent to Doug Bennitz, their wives accepting with them Following dinner the party were entertained in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stefurak. SUPER COSTUMES AT FIREMAN'S BALL The Fireman's Ball was again a gala occasion with almost half of the dancers in costume and the usual riot of fun when masks were doffed and id identities revealed. Mike Cosgrove was M.C..and the door prize was won by Dr. T. Wykes, dressed as an English school boy. The judges were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cressman, © Mr. and Mrs. Ron Wood, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike .
