Russell Macadam, Education OCTOBER 23, 1969 REMEMBRANCE DAY PROGRAM SET The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 109, havé arranged the program for Remembrance Day Services as follows: All veterans will assemble in the Legion hall at 10.30 a.m., on November 11, after which they will parade to the Cenotaph, where the public will be assembled, and the service will start at 10.50. ' At 11 o'clock the Last Post will be sounded, foll- owed by the minutes' silence and Reveille. The Legion Padre will give an address and the laying of wreaths will take place. The parade will return to the Legion Hall. The banquet, for Legion members and ladies' auxiliary members, with escorts or companions and invited guests will be served at 6.30 in the Legion Hall. Following the dinner a cabaret evening will be enjoyed with music for dancing by Mary Hollinger of Fort William. Fourteen mem- bers were present. Roll call was answered with donation of stamps and cards for the Friendship secretary, and the meet ing motto in the Thanksgiving theme.
