Reg - Bailey was a delegate to the Synod for the Diocese of Algoma at Sault Ste. Marie last week. Mrs. Jimmy Figliomeni is a patient in the Port Arthur General Hospital . Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Marshall and family of New Glasgow, N.S., are visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. W. Gerow and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Campbell . NE Albert Pearson is in Terrace Bay Hospital with severe burns suffered in an explosion in his home. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Costall and daughter Joangof Carleton Place, are visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Harry Costall . The grade three class of Holy Angel's Schoo! were taken on an educational tour of the Lakehead on - Saturday, June 7th. They visited many scenic spots and also were taken on a boat cruise. Before return- ing they had lunch at Boulevard Lake. They were ac companied by Sister Daniel Joseph, Miss Muriel Holmes, Miss Sandra Dennison, Miss Barbara Dick, Miss Sandra McLean of the teaching staff. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jewell and daughter Crystal of Toronto are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kusik and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Paradis. Mrs. Tom Leveque and three children of White River, are visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Harry Welbourne . (| IN CANDLELIGHT TEA The Candlelight Tea held by the Grade 8 students of Schreiber Public School on Friday evening in the United Church Hall was most successful. Tina Yates was cashier . During the evening entertainment was provided by | Janice Cluett, Robin Smith and John LeBlanc who sang folk songs and played selections on the guitar. Serving the large crowd of guests were Debby Del Valie, Bill Smilski, Pat McKenna, Janet Richardson, Karen Kushnieryk, Shirley Bouchard, Betty Pinion, Alan Turner, Craig Fischer, Maxine Hubelit, Donald Kelly, Gordon Worne, Susan Johnson, Donna Noona Jane Crook, Cathy Bottomley, Debby Gemmell, Jamie Collinson. Linda Lidkea sold tickets on a hamper of groceries which was won by Barry Willan, the lucky ticket drawn by Mrs. C. Todesco of Rossport. Mrs. Ivan Johnson and Mrs. Frank McKenna assisted in the kitchen.
