PAGE 18 ICE CARNIVAL A SUCCESS The Schreiber Girls' Figure Skating club held a most successful ice carnival attended by one of the largest crowds in some years. Club Professional Mrs . Jennifer Skinner, was presented with a handcut Mexican agate neckluce by Mrs. Penny Caccamo, on behalf of the club. Jack Bryson was M.C. for the program and Jack Winters the cashier. The grocery hamper draw was won by Miss Irene Spicer - Walter Dukes drawing the ticket. "COKE" CAMPBELL MOVES TO TORONTO Russe oke) Campbell, who took up his new posi tion as chief despatcher Metro Toronto and Trenton divisions on April Ist was given an informal party on his last day of work in Schreiber when officials and office workers presented humorous individual gifts to wish him luck. Russell is the third generation Camp- bell to become an operator. His grandfather John was first, followed by father Joe now retired, then Russell who started in Schreiber in 1941.
