The goodies were donated by mothers of the P.T.A. but the rest was completely the work of the students. Orange and black streamers were strung from light fixtures and smiling Jack-O- lanterns decorated the walls. Each table had a centre piece made by the students. Live entertainment was provided by several accordian players and solo singers from kindergarten, grade one and two. The tables were served by graceful grade eight girls proudly wearing their school uniforms and polite grade eight boys dressed in pressed pants, white shirts and bow ties. The class made a profit of over one hundred dollars which they have banked. This is the first of many fund raising events planned to earn enough money for a long trip next spring.
