Mrs. P.-Huminicki has returned from Winnipeg where she visited Mr. and Mrs. Pat Huminicki . Mr. and Mrs. J. Brenzavich of Fort William spent the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Huard. Mrs. J. Molinski of Vancouver is visiting her sisters, Mrs. D. Nesbitt and Mrs. P. Sparkes. The Fire Brigade will hold its' Halloween dance on October 31 in the town hall, with the usual prize and special attention given to original costumes . L.R. Tremblay presided for the regular meeting of the Parent Teachers Association of Holy Angles school on October 17 with 40 present. A film "Teaching as a Career" was shown, this being done in the hope of encouraging more students to enter | this profession. As part of the program, members | listened to a radio broadcast on the Dennis Hall Report and a discussion followed. The room atten- dance prize was won by Miss Jane Syvitsky. Very Rev. Dean J.M. Cano officiated. Miss Brenda Lalonde was the organ ist and Giovanni Cebrario the soloist . Eddie Duffy was the best man and Jim and Ronald Duffy the ushers, all brothers of the groom. The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in-la Donald Fearnley, was gowned in Spanish lace ina lovers' knot design, with the graceful front fullness falling from the sabrina neckline. The three quarters length widened sleeves, neckline and circular train marked by large bow, were all edged with honiton lace. Her double veil was held by satin rose and pearlized foliage and she carried a cascade of red roses . Norma McLellan, the bridesmaid, chose a slim line floor length blue velvet gown, the scoop neck- | line and empire bodice emphasized with silver band and bugle beads.
