PAGE 12 Schreiber High School's Yearbook Staff Car Wash The Grade Nine Students of Schreiber High Schod would like to thank all the patrons of their car wash _ Special appreciation goes to Mr. G. Caccamo of Caccamo's Grocery for the soap and Mr. G. Birch of Birch's Garage for the use of his facilities. Our project was a great success with approximat- ely $80 being raised. Cross Country Run On Saturday, October 5th, 1968 the participants of the schools in our district met in Marathon for a Cross Country Race. Displaying their skills were students from Marathon, Wawa, Chapleau, Terrace Bay, Schreiber, Geraldton and Manitouwadge . Although Geraldton won out in the end, everyone w who entered did their best and put on a great displa The students representing Schreiber were as fol- lows: Junior Girls: Linda Fontaine, Katie Kastiluk, Antoinette Desoulniers, Cathy Stokes, Janice Cluet and Carolyn Glad. Senior Girls: Mary Speziale, Wendy Weaver, Susan Bromely, Claire Belliveau, Nancie Lapinski, and Candy Nealy. Junior Boys: Bob Fummerton, Lonnie Connelly, Bill Hiller, Michael Spadoni, Danny McGrath and Kim Gellert. Senior Boys: David Bromely, Doug Stefurak, Bo Hiller, Ivan Martin, Stan Spadoni The Junior and Senior Girls ran.a distance of 11/2 miles. The Junior Boys ran ran 2 1/2 miles and the Senior Boys ran a distance of 3 1/2 miles. From Schreiber, the Junior Girls placed fourth and the Junior boys placed fourth in overall points.
