In future issues of the "News"} we will be keeping you posted on plans and starting dates for the coming season. (We normally start curl- ing early in November). Naturally we hope to see all the regulars back wit us again, but we are also interested in encouraging non curlers or new members to the community to come out and join the fun. For those of you who have of- ten considered joining in the past, but have hesitated because you have never curled before - - COME OU THIS YEAR. We can assure you that you won't be the only beginner. Each and every year we have at least 10 to 12 new members who have never played the game, but by the end of the year, they are as en thusiastic and knowledgeable about the game as the old timers. Usually the first two nights of the season are set aside for free instruction for beginners and a social gathering of all the members to get acquainted and play a few short games to limber up for the com- ing season.
