McCuaia FORMER SCHREIBER GIRL WED IN WINNIPEG Gordon King Mamoricl United Church, Winnipeg, was the set- ting for the marriage of Beulah Irene McBride, daughter of Mrs, Harriett McBride, Schrei- ber, Ont. and Ronald Keith Hutchinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hutchinson, Winnipeg. The double ring ceremony was solemnized by Rev. W. H. Hig- ham, Organsst Miss Eleanor Mudray accompanied soloist Miss Donna Slater of Port Ar- thur. The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Ronald McBride wore a floor length gown-of peau 'de shan, Beaded trim and lace appliques enhanced front of em- pire bodice and edged the three quarter length sleeves. The long train was adorned with similar lace inserts. A rose headpiece of lace and matching dress mater- ial, caught her shoulder length veil and she carried a cascade bouquet of roses. Maid of honor Miss Marlene Birch and bridesmaid Miss Car- ole Lalonde wore similar gowns of shocking pink peau de charm. Bands of daisies. accented the empire waistlines and were Tre- peated down the full length panel in back of gown. They compleed ttheir ensembles with 'pink slippers, matching daisy headdresses and bouquets. Erie Parrish was best man while Melvin Peters and Donald LeMoine ushered. Ernie Parrish was-master of ceremonies at the reception in the Elmwood Building, Winni- peg. The groom's grandfather, A, Shepherd said grace. The bride's mother received in' a turquoise bonded crepe dress with a matching lace coat, turquoise hat, white accessor- jes and a white orchid corsage. The groom's mother chose a multi - color dress of cut velvet on white nylon over turquoise satin, matching hat, black ac eessories and a yellow orchid corsage. Out of town guests included Mrs. Harriett McBride, Mr. and Mrs, Ronald McBride and daughter Geraldine, Mr. anc Mrs. Jack Richardson and daughter Judy, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Birch, Schreiber; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce McBride, Jo- anne, Dawn and Russell, Ter- race Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas McBride, Miss Donna Slater, Port Arthur; Mrs. G. The couple will make their home in Moose Jaw, Sask., where the groom has been trans ferred by the Bank of Montreal. Prior to her martiage the pride, who with ber husband has beea employed with the Bank of Montreal, was enter- 'ained at several showers by rel- atives. and friends in Winnipsg by friends in Schreiber.
