SKI CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT Through the joint effort of Kimberly-Clark Mill and Woodlands Divisions, a building suitable for use as a Ski Chalet has recently been made avail- able to the Terrace Bay Ski Club. It is expected that this building will be moved to the hill in ample time to prepare it for use during the entire 1968-69 ski season. The building should provide us witha chalet facility unsurpassed for a club of our size. The Club Executive, on behalf of all Ski Club Members, wishes to thank Kimberly-Clark for their | support at this critical time in the life of our club. Much time and effort on the part of our member- ship will be needed to prepare for the coming ski season. The Club Executive is currently develop- ing a program toward this end. Members will be informed of the details in the near future. BRIDE-ELECT LYNNE MOORES HONORED An Open Shower and tea was held in St. Martin's Hall on Sunday night to honor bride-elect Lynne Moores. In the receiving line were Lynne, Mrs. Moores, Mrs. Boon , Mrs. Kosticki, Miss Holly Berndsston and Mrs. Isabel Delaronde. At a rose centred table, the pourers for the first hour were Mrs. Ethel Boyd and Mrs. Peggy Regis, and for the second hour were Mrs. Marg Santerre and Mrs. Alma MacDonald. Servitors were Miss Barbie McMillan and Miss Shirley Phillips. In charge of kitchen arrangements were Mesdames J. Fisher, M. Phillips, D. Plourde, E. Rennett, and A. MacDonald. Guests were seated at individual tables. Shown in the photo at right by Marg Lundberg, is Bride-Elect Lynne Moores flanked by Holly Berndsston and Mrs. Kosticki. LADIES GOLF NEWS On Tuesday, June 18th, 11 ladies took part in the weekly ladies tournament. The results were as follows: Low Gross - J. Gunter; Low Net - |. Ferrier; Low Hole - Julie Rattray; High Hole - M. Hanley. On Saturday, June 22nd, 10 ladies took part in a 2 ball handicap with beginners, with the following results: Low Gross - |. Pattison and A. Adamo; Low Net - A. Adamo and L. West; Low Hole - M. Hanley and J. Hall; and High Hole - P. Kelty and S. Richards.
