The Rebekah Degree was conferred on several candidates at the regular meeting of Ruby Rebekah Lodge, with Mrs. Agnes Bryson as pianist and Mrs. Gladys Hamilton, degree captain, as soloist. Some thirty members of Rebekah Lodges at the Lakehead were welcomed, among these were Mrs. Matilda MacDonald, past president of the Rebekah Assembly of Ontario and introduced by Mrs. Helen Wallace, P.D.D.P.; and Mrs. Mary Neseski, presented by Mrs. Anna Laine, P.D.D.S. The traveling gavel was presented to Mrs. Jean Fischer, N.G., bu Mrs. Bessie Evans. First nominations for officers for the coming year were conducted.
