APRIL 25, 1968 Variety Night - Cont'd from page 2 Linda Hayes, Sam Harris, Bob Broadhurst, Graham and Ralph Coe. In the free exercises, Marlyn MacDonald, Jane Chopty, Jane Persson and Linda Hayes showed a mar- vellous display of grace in motion. Joanne Brown with Mrs. S. Hodgkiss at the piano sang two lovely selections. Linda Ballentine, Susan Graham and Mary Clare Coupal portrayed a drama from MacBeth - Witches Brew, and the girls danced and recited around a flaming cauldron. To end the evening on a hilarious note, a soapy opera was presented by Margaret Jean Wallwin, Val- erie Turner, and Lynn Simmer. These three girls truly deserved an Oscar for their performance. A great deal of credit goes to Mr. Jon Ferguson, Physical Education teacher at the Terrace Bay High School, who has spent many extra hours with these students, and it is evident by the response and ex- cellent performances of the students. A special vote of thanks also goes to Mr. Hibbitt and Mr. Don Fields both on the school staff, who helped to make this one of the best Variety nights.
