All mem- bers were present with the exception of Jack Phil- lips, whe had the misfertune of being involved in a car accident south of Manitouwadge. . Get well, Jack, we all miss you! The season's activities were outlined, and in the very near future it is hoped that a green's keeper will be hired. The club house was broken into twice this winter, and members find this quite dis- turbing, as they have all worked so hard to beauti- fy the course. The practice fairway is under con- struction. Hector Macleod is in charge of this pro ject, and it is hoped that anyone contacted to lend a hand, will not refuse. Tickets on the T.V. raffle are going well and the draw is to be made during the Dominion Day holiday weekend. Those selling tickets and have finished with their book are to hand in the money to T. Costa. Member- ships are at a standstill and may be obtained TERRACE BAY NEWS Goto the CHURCH of your APRIL 4, 1968 choice | SCHREIBER rT ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH - Rev. A.L. NOTE: With the nice weather now upon us, some ardent golfers were seen to be prac-- | ticing their drives using woods and irons. This is dandy, but would those people doing so, please refrain from using carts, do not use regular tees, tee every shot, and most important - stay off the greens. In order to maintain our golf course we need your co-operation, so please don't let us down. oe. BS eR REPLY TO REEVE'S LETTER Last week the Reeve endeavoured to absolve him' self of any responsibility for the police car repairs in Schreiber. ; This statement.that the Constable had advised me that he was totally responsible for taking the car to Schreiber is a contemptible lie. k kk ke kK eK Ke Ke RK KE OF Since this can be substantiated by three witness- es who were present at the time, it reduces the Reeve's statement to a level (Cont'd on page 4)
