M. Kulmatycki Funeral Service -(cont'd from page 14) In 1941 Mr. Parent moved to Schreiber to assume duties as trainman, and after 38 years service with the CPR, retired as conductor. Mr. Parent is survived by one son, Arthur, four grandchildren, all of Schreiber; three sisters - Juliette (Mrs. E. Nicol) of Schreiber, Rose (Mrs. A. Sahl) of Port Arthur, Anita (Mrs. W. Montreuil) of White River, and a brother, Leo, also of White River. He was predeceased by his wife in 1951, a son Angus in 1956 and a son John in 1966. Mr. Parent was a member of the Knights of Col- umbus, the Canadian Legion and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainman. " Mr. Parent was an ardent fisherman and spent many happy hours with friends at his camp on Steel River. Last summer, when a plane disappeared in that area, he was first to suspect the fatal crash, and assisted in the long search which followed.
