If you possess a hobby or a talent, we would be interest ed in sharing your knowledge, and we're sure others would be too. We are interested in providing only those ppportunities for which you have an interest. Let's communicate and share your ideas for a better Programme or new programme courses of instruction, for a progressive community. Public Skating Hours - regular public skating sessions are held in the Terrace Bay Arena as follows: Wednesdays - 1:30 to 3:30(pre-school skating) 3:30 to 5:30(public skating) - 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. - 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Badminton - Badminton activities resumed on January 4th at 8:30 p.m., and will be conducted in the High School Auditorium every Tuesday evening, from 9:30 to 11:00, and Thursday evening from 8:00 to 11:00. Old and new members are invited to come out and m make 1968 a successful badminton season. Minor Hockey Comments - Minor Hockey needs coaches and managers to help finish the season. Do you send your child to the rink every week? Is you life so busy that your child may suffer? Your support is needed to assist with your child's activities. Help him now. Phone the Recreation Office and offer your yssistance, so that your son will be a happier boy. (Cont'd on page 11) Fridays Sundays TERRACE BAY NEWS SERVING THE DISTRICT JANUARY 11, 1968 YOU ARE INVITED! i A series of panel discussions will be launched at 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 14th in Terrace Bay Community Church which should be of inter- est to all residents of the community. Topics to be discussed include "What should we do with Christian Education?", "Is there a better way of educating your Children? ", "What about religious education in day schools or what about a Junior Church? " On Sunday, January 28th at 8.30 p.m. the topic will be "Sex Education in our Schools, Homes, and Church". Father Leo LaFreniere, who is in charge of sex education in the separate schools at the Lakehead will be the guest speak- er. Other panel members will be a housewife, a student, and a doctor. The whole community is invited to attend these sessions which will be held in the Community Church School Rooms.
