Christmas Party - The committee are interested in having some gifts for this party so all members are requested to think up some gimmicks. New Year's Party - Due to an apparent lack of in- terest, the Curling Club does not plan to hold a party on New Year's Eve. Men's Northwestern - An entry list will be posted in the Club Lounge in the near future so line up your team now. - O'KEEFE Mixed Curling Event - The Zone Playoff for the O 'Keefes will be held in Terrace Bay on the weekend of February 3rd and 4th. This will see the bext mixed curling team from each club in the Zone competing for the right to advance to the Northwestern, to be held February 16 - 18 at the Port Arthur Golf & Country Club. A Marathon team has represented this Zone the past two years but with the interest being shown locally, there is a chance that a Terrace Bay team will be making the trip this year. The weekend of January 27th and 28th has been scheduled to declare a club representative. All teams interested in the O'Keefes are asked to 'sign up' on the Club bulletin board. Its not too early to start practising - remember the O'Keefes are all twelve end games. Mixed Curling - Some of our scheduled games will have to be postponed to allow for, regular club events, such as the Dec.15 Turkey Spiel.
