Worthy Matron Stella Brown presided for the re- gular meeting of Silver Birch Chapter ).E.S., with Worthy Patron Ted Brown, in the Star Room of the Masonic Hall. The minutes were read by Secretary Anna Laine, and adopted. Correspondence was read and filed. Treasurer Alice Farrow gave the financial report. An impressive Installation Ceremony took place, with P.M. Flora Bryson as Installing Matron. Lil Harris, P.M. was Installing Marshall and Marg. Kragero, P.M. was installing Chaplain. Officers installed were: Marjorie Anderson, Ruth; Jessie MacAdam, Esther; Donna Whitton, Associate Matro and Arnold MeKechnie, Associate Patron. W.M. Stella Brown thanked the installing officers. Mrs. Win. McKechnie presented Mrs. Aggie Sinkins with a gift of jewellry, from the Chapter, and Albert Farrow, P.M. presented Mrs. Sinkins with a beautiful Money Corsage, from officers and members, with their best wishes, as Aggie goes on to make her new home. The corsage was design- ed by Mrs. Louise Corbett. Mrs. S. Jones and son Bill, were accompanied home, by Mr. and Mrs. Art Jones of Red Rock.
