Father Gallagher thanked Reeve Cavanaugh and all those who contributed and had come to honour him, and expressed the wish that the congregation would extend to Father Harris the help and consid- eration he had received while he was here. Miss Carninto entertained, accompanying herself on the guitar with some delightful folk songs. Faithful Navigator, Mr. George Tremblay, Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly of Marathon, presented a gift to Father Gallapher . To add to the entertainment of the evening, Mr. Boudreau introduced the Terrace Bay Band, under the direction of Mrs. Ellen Hodgkiss, who played four lovely numbers. The Male Choir, under the leadership of Mr. Bert Lohr, also sang some selections. Rev. T.G. December 7, 1967 Schreiber brought in train num- ber two, the Canadian, Sunday night, he ended a career of more than 50 years service with the CPR. Mr. Priske's service began as call boy at Schreiber in 1917. He became a locomotive fire- 'man in 1920 and was promoted to engineer in 1942 working in freight service until 1952. He was then assigned to passenger service and finished his career as senior engineer on train one and two between Schreiber and Fort William. A gold pass for 50 years service was given to 'him recently. He is a member of the Broth- erhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers, serving as local secretary-treasurer of the Cana- dian Pacific Grievance Commit- tee.
