October 26, 1967 KANGAROO COURT HELD BY STUDENTS A lively show was presented by the high school kangaroo court this year with some fifty-eight fresh- men sentenced for imaginary crimes, some of the accusations bring roars of laughter from the assembled student body. Judge, Greg. Morrill and the jury each held a threatening device of one sort or another. Hilarious moments were when a girl sentenced to be be-headed lying her head on a chopping block with axe hovering over her, let out a horrifying scream as the curtain was drawn. A life-like bloody head was then hurled through the curtain. Secondly D'Arcy Furlonger made an impressive "Magoo" and being ordered to shoot another prisoner, shot at his fellow-jurors and audience, before falling into a tub of water. Blank shots off stage added to the excitement. Page 14 TERRACE BAY NEWS SCHREIBER NEWS Motto for the Women's Institute October meeting was "Teenagers Need-Models - Not Critics".
