TERRACE BAY NEWS RECREATION BRIEFS - September 7 1967 Lacrosse - This Sunday, September 10 at 2 p.m. in the Terrace Bay Arena, Terrace Bay will meet Manitouwadge in what is hoped wiil be a very int- eresting game, since this is the first time a Lacrosse game has been thrown open to the public. There will be a small admission charge to help defray expenses. The girls of Terrace Bay will also put on an exhibition game to demonstrate their prowess in, this sport. Lacrosse practise will be held at the arena on Thursday evening of this week, and all persons attending Lacrosse practises in the past are urged to be on hand. Terrace Bay will have a return game on Friday, September I5, travelling to Manitouwadge for the event. - Tennis Courts - There is still many days of good weather ahead for tennis, and courts are sti!l open. Keys may b e obtained for the courts from the Snack Bar. Roller Skating - Don't forget - roller skating wiil still be held on Sunday evenings in the Terrace Bay arena from 7 10 p.m. Come out and join the fun. LADIES GOLF NEWS Ladies Day winners Tuesday, August 29 were: Low Gross - Peggy Wellings, Low Net - Aina Adamo Saturday's Two Ball Winners were: Low Gross - Jean Megraw, June Linton, Low Net - Jan Hall and Dot Koski. The last Mixed Two-Ball Fourteen of the season will be a Mr. & Mrs. Tournament, Thursday, Sept- ember 13. Tee off time - 5.15 p.m. Sign up at the club-house. TOWN TOPICS - Mr. & Mrs. A. Chisholm and family are back after spending the summer at their Loon Lake Camp, visiting Expo in Montreal and many other Eastern points. Mr. & Mrs. J.
