The Terrace Bay Swim Meet will be held Saturday, Sept.2nd. North Shore Swim Meet - Last Saturday the Terrace Bay Swim Club travelled to Marathon to take part in a very exciting swim meet. Once again Red Rock placed first, Marathon second, Terrace Bay third and Manitouwadge fourth. Even though Red Rock did pla place first by several points it was quite noticeable that they spent more time in the water practising than most of the other clubs. This reinforces the cliche that 'practisé makes perfect'. It was also noticeable that Red Rock picked up many points by having at least two simmers. in each event; the other swim clubs did not. Our swimmers are to be congratulated for their fine showing even though they did not enter all the events ._ You will notice from the list below that Terrace Bay did very well in many of the events.
