Following the Tournament Terrace Bay Branch president Pat Jones entertained the men's execu- tive and their wives, friends and out of town guests, Les Dafoe, Zone Commander, Peter Laushway and Mrs .Laushway, Br.183 Marathon, Max Mekilok, Molson's representative from the Lakehead, toa buffet style garden party at his home. Later in the evening a social and dance was held at the Curling Lounge. Zone golf trophies and prizes were pre- sented by Max Mekilok assisted by Pat Jones. Also sponsored by Molson's was the annual Fish Derby which was held during the months of June and July by Branch 223. Prizes were presented to Rockie Gavin who won with an 11 Ib.10 oz-Lake Trout - Joe Dejonghe Bell visited Mr.and Mrs .Chas .Todesco recently. for 2 Ib. 12 oz.Speckled trout ~ Wilf Mallais for Miss Juliette Posin of Longlac is visiting friends his 6 |b. 1 oz.Rainbow, Bob Wiliam fora 6lb.1 oz-f a+ pays Plat. Pic NI IN ogi _ GEO .WARDROPE PARK - LOCATED AT THE EAST ENTRANCE TO ROSSPORT. September 3rd. 1967. Pickerel and Ernie Kettle who had a 7 Ib.15 oz. Pike. ! ;: The most unusual fish entered was a 12 oz.Crappie, caught by Joe Campbell in Lake Superior. Lands & Forests were interested in this specie (A type of Bass) because is doesn't normally frequent northern waters . Zone Commander Peter Laushway also presented the Legion Ladies Auxiliary Darts Trophy to Pam Jones and Shirley Caron which they won in July in in the Zone Tournament held in Marathon. A light lunch was prepared. Everyone enjoyed the music provided by Fred McColeman and Dan McDonald.
