PROVINCIAL POLICE REPORT The Schreiber OPP detachment are having an un- usually busy summer, due in part to the many enroutq to Expo--from July 30 to August 5 giving out 30 meal tickets to transients from the community fund. They worked 240 hours and patrolled 2,666 miles. One female juvenile missing from Whitby was loca- ted in this area and returned home. Two theft in- vestigations are still being carried out. Three charges against minors under the Liquor Control Act were laid. Other inquiries to locate , compas- sionate messages and assistance to other police de- partments were carried ouf. Two injury accidents when three people were injured and four property damage accidents were investigated. Seven charges were laid under the OHTA for violations and 29 : checks for vehicle safety and 10 warnings were is- sued for minor defects or violations.
