June 1, 1967 TERRACE BAY NEWS Page 13 SCHREIBER GOSPEL MISSION Mr. & Mrs. Marshall Lawrence are returning from Mexico and Guatemala this week and will be taking services Sunday, June 4 in Schreiber, Terrace Bay and Rossport . You will profit by seeing their slides and hearing of their experiences in jungle training camps. Services in Schreiber will be held at 1] a.m. and 7 p.m., Terrace Bay 9.30 a.m. and Rossport 2 p.m. Archie McEwen was official score keeper and , presented C .Todesco with the Crib trophy. Romeo Bouchard presented each Geraldton player with a Lake Superior trout on behalf of Rossport players. The government freighter Skiva out of Ottawa recently docked here. Alex Zwaresh is holidaying in Toronto and other eastern cities. Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Schelling are in Duluth, Minn. to attend the funeral of the late Mr. J.Kemp of the Kemp Fisheries . Russell Gerow and son William arrived Saturday to take their tug the Wavey 11 to the Lakehead where it will be moored. ROSSPORT NEWS For the first time in five years the local men's cribbage club captured the trophy up for competition between Geraldton and local clubs. This years champions defeated the Miners 22 - 13. A bean supper was served at Ab. Burns summer camp at Geraldton following the series of games. Gerald- ton players were John Burns, Wm. Morton, Ab. Berry, E.McColl, C.Kerr, L.Alexander, G.Scott, L.Gadbouis, Jim Martin,Ray Graham. Rossport players were C .Todesco, R.Boucla rd, F .Legault, M.Hubelit, T.Yandon, H.Legault, K. Dunne, K.Bowlier, E.Gerow, P.Testori. Three special programs of study will be featured in the expanded summer school being offered this year at Lakehead University. The Nursery School Teachers' Course is the first of the three courses required to be certified by the Nursery Education Association of Ontario .
