GOSPEL MISSION Sunday School at 2 P.M. every Sunday TOWN TOPICS ANNUAL MEETING -- LADIES CURLING CLUB The annual meeting of the Terrace Bay Ladies Curling Club will be held in the club lounge on Monday, April 25th at 8 P.M. An agenda of the meeting, including new recom- mendations, will be sent out to all members of the club. Please read this agenda prior to the meeting and come prepared to discuss - the matters mentioned. The election of new officers for 1966-67 will also take place and nominations from the floor will be welcomed. 'Following the meeting a "chin-wag" will carry on, with food and refreshments free. The date of the curling wind-up has been set for May 7th so prepare now to join in on the festivities. All regular curling is now over for the season. The Ollie Chapman rink was declared winner of the afternoon curling for the Molsen Trophy. With Ollie were Phyl Kelty, Alice Farrow and Gayle Rose. Runner-up rink was skipped by Mary Hale with Edith Chard, Isabel Ferrier and Lois McCausland. Over the past season some very enjoyable and interesting curling has been played by members of the club in both the ladies regu- lar afternoon and evening curling with bon- spiel and numerous mixed 'spiels. Out-of- town bonspiels were were well represented by Terrace Bay. These included the Lakehead International, Red Rock, Marathon, Manitou- wadge and Elliot Lake. With this full sche- dule and good participation it appears that everyone enjoyed curling this year and we hope to see you all back next season. ST.ANDREW'S UNITED CHURCH -- Rev. Bible Study every first and third Sunday at 11.00 A.M, HORTICULTURAL ANNUAL MEETING APRIL 22ND At a recent executive meeting it was de- cided that the Spring General Meeting would be held on Friday, April 22nd at 8:00 P.M, in the large meeting room of the Recreation Centre. This meeting is open to all those interest ed in gardens and growing things and new mem- bers are very welcome. Tentative plans were made to ask a nursery owner to come to Terrace Bay to sell bedding plants early in June. This service would be available to all residents as well as to horticultural members. TWO HUNDRED DELEGATES ATTEND HI-C RALLY The Thunder Bay Area HI-C Rally for 1966 will be held in Terrace Bay, commencing April 14 and continuing until April 17th. Over 200 delegates are expected to attend this Rally. In order to raise funds to help de- fray the costs of hosting this Rally the local HI-C group have undertaken a number of projects the past few weeks. The most important of these were a bottle drive and a Bake Sale. Eighty-one dollars was raised at the bake sale and it is expected that be- tween $35 and $40 will be realized from the turn-over of at least 1,200 bottles. BUY AND USE EASTER SEALS }! he,
