A REVIEW OF 1965 We all look to the New Year with hope and an- ticipation. 1965 feebly stepped over the gateway of history but we recall how it brought us a brighter outlook for the future as our main industry, Commercial Fishing, has started back to increase its supply of Lake Superior trout. They were less marked by the eel and of heavier weight. With more tonnage, fishermen have been given a brighter outlook for years to come. The Zenmac Mines Ltd. have their processing mill at Selim almost ready to begin operations in 1966 and hope to employ around sixty men. This industry will increase the population of the village and assure employment for many. Of course everything did not come up roses for 1965. There were problems to cope with, some had a measure of sadness and personal frustration many snags will be left behind by the old year and these we will have to wrestle with in the months of the new year ahead of us. With God's help, let us make it a bright and prosperous year.
