Word has been received that another of Terrace Bay's young hockey hopefuls, sixteen year old Dan Schock, has been accepted by the Niagara Falls Flyers, Junior A Hockey. Dan attended their school last week. He will at- tend High school in Niagara Falls while play- ing hockey in the Junior A Loop. Mrs. Stella Brown was hostess last Thursday morning at a Kaffee Klatch to welcome two new neighbours, Mrs. Doris Almos and Mrs, Hilda Hiebert, Assisting were Mesdames Rose Garrioc and Gertrude Cotton. Robby Larson celebrated his eighth birth- day Friday afternoon with a party. His sister Marilyn entertained with games before birth- day cake and lunch were served, The boys left for home with party favors. Annette and Donald Farrow with daughter Cathy left last week for Sault Ste. Marie wher they will take up residence. Donald will be teaching in the M. Dacey School this term. Mrs. J. Duncan and daughter Cheryl have returned from a holiday over the past five weeks in Winnipeg. They were accompanied by Pamela Cumming, Visiting this week with the Duncans are her sister and brother-in-law, Mr.and Mrs.J.Wrigley of Goldfield, Sask., with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr.and Mrs.Ron Taylor and family of North Portal. Barbara McMillan and Bonnie Gunter left Saturday for Port Arthur where they will attend Business College this coming term, Mr.and Mrs. Jim Cumming and their daugh- ters Jamie and Pamela attended the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto last week. While guests at the King Edward Hotel the girls wére delighted to get a first hand look at the famous Beatles, Jamie's trip was a reward given by the Northwestern Ontario Sportsmants Show at which a poster submitted by her was judged best in its : ae Mousseau of Seattle, Washington, visited with her family, Mr.and Mrs.Joe Mousseau last week before flying to Europe for a six week vacation, While there she will visit her sister-in-law and brother, Ann and Ralph Mousseau, stationed in Germany.
