GOLF 'NEWS We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Julie Stokoluk as our new club pro, whose duties are to commence immediately. We are very fortunate in obtaining Julie who comes from a. family of well known golf Pros. He has a brother in Red Rock and one at Municipal ' Golf Course in Fort William. Julie, coer to us eighteen years of experience, . Mr. Stokoluk will be in charge of our Saek? club, and will also be available for golfing instructions, evenings, Saturday and Sunday. This should prove of interest to those who have just started the game this year, also to a lot. of us who are still 'duffers™ after playing for a good number of years. Lets make him welcome in our community by giving him our fullest co-operations. No doubt he will enfor- ce: some rules we have had a tendency to get lax on; such as replacing divots. ct«, however when one stops to think this is all for our own ben efit. We should work together for one of the finist golf courses in the North West. Now that we have seven fairways in operation, it should relieve some of the pressure from the first four which have had a terrific amount of traf- fic since we first opened the course. We have also installed a starting trough which every- one is urged to use when there are one or more parties waiting to tee off. The telephone is now installed in the club house and hydro will soon be in. One has only to look around to see SCHREIBER ST. JOHN'S ANGICAN CHURCH - Rev. R.J.S.
