From St. Martants Separate School, the teachers plans are; Mr. R.T. Kenney will attend the 0.E.C.T.A. Seminar for Principals in Toronto and vacation at his summer home at Rossport. Miss Joyce Raper will spend the summer in foronto, returning in the fall. Mr. W. Eckert will take a Math Course at Lakeshore Irs* College before teaching at Brantford in the fall. in Ottawa and will teach at St. Joseph's School in Toronto next fall. Mrs. L. Shubaly and family will motor to Renfrew to visit her father John Windle and relatives in the Ottawa area during July. Miss Pat Huminicki will take a summer course in Primary Methods Part IZ in Ottawa returning to St. Martin's in the fall. Mrs. P.J. O'Grady also plans to take a summer course in Junior Education at Timmins before starting to teach AMigh School there next fall. Police, issue a stern warning that any | one caught placing any obstruction (this includes sticks and stones) on the railroad tracks will be dealt with severely. Parents are asked to impress upon their children that such acts can have serious con- sequences. The 'Canadadan" was forced to a halt last Friday night when the engineer noticed large flat stones and big sticks piled on the Terrace Bay station portion of the tracks. These could have caused a derailment if the enginee had been unable to stop in time and had to be removed before the train could proceed.
