The first play of the evening was entitled "The Happy Journey", and, with no scenery and few pro- perties, the stage manager, Brian Hubelit took all minor parts. Directed by Mrs. J. Coons the cast were Donna Brown, David Mercier, Ingo Schmiedchen, Lita Marie Boudreau and Darlene Larson. "Just What the Doctor Ordered" proved a very attractive presentation of gymnastics again directed by Mrs. Coons. Appearing in the dark, each girl wore flashlights on her arms to outline the exercises done to music. Gymnasts were Paulette Boudreau, Betty Lou Cavanaugh, Jill Crandlemire, Marie Delaronde, Elizabeth Dobush, Pat Downey, Bonnie Gunter, Elizabeth Hayes, Joan Hopper, Kitt Knauff, Suzanne Lemay, Kathy Phillips, Elaine Rajotte, Evelyn Rajotte lrene Stuart and Stephanie Synishin. Another snappy gymnastic display followed, this time by Ken Anderson, Emile Comeau, Wayne Daley, Ricky Dorman, Tom Gerow, Leith McKay, Bobby Long, Bob Robinson, Ingo Schmeidchen and Jim Woodruff who presented a gym routine before performing on the mats and box horse. The second play of the evening directed by Mr. G. Coons, was equally well-accomplished. "The Valiant" was the story of a convict who refuses to divulge his real identity and takes place late evening in the Warden's office at the State Penitentiary just before his execution. The cast in this performance were: Fern McLeod, David Roberts, James Mikus, Irene Uzicanin, Don Teniuk and Bruce Lundberg. (Continued on Page 10) GUIDE ASSOCIATION Mrs. Shirley Mikus chaired the February meeting of the Girl Guide Association held at the home of Mrs. J. Brooks, February 24th. Minutes and correspondence were read by Mrs.K. Turner and Mrs. A. Farrow gave the Treasurer's report. The Convenors gave their individual reports with Mrs. P. Coupal, Social Convenor reporting that the Banquet on Sunday was very successful. The Badge Secretary, Mrs. L. Phillips,asked all Brownies to pick up their signed slips. A special meeting for Brownie leaders will be held the 26th, to discuss the Brownie Banquet. An Easter Bake Sale is to be held sometime in March with all ladies of the Community being asked to donate. The Association is interested in obtaining a swimming instructor and a nurse for a tentative local Company Camp this summer. This year all Guides are to wear camp uniforms as stated in the P.O.R. Pat Downey was honored by being picked as the only Guide in this district to attend an Inter national Camp at Doe Lake this year. It was reported $110.00 was collected for Unicef by Guides and Brownies on Hallowe'en. The meeting was adjourned with the hostess serving a delicious luncheon. The next meeting will be held on March 23rd at the home of Mrs. P.
