Mr .& Mrs. Earl Cameron and family of Elliott Lake are visiting with Mr.& Mrs. Jack Rattray. When Mrs .Roly Martin entered Caccamo's store Saturday morning she was asked to act as interpreter for a tourist from Quebec who was shopping. The purchases completed Mrs.Martin and the stranger be- gan to chat and, at ease now, the other lady asked her name. Told it was Mrs.Roly Martin she exclaimed "But you had your sister visiting last week, and | am her next door neighbor in Thetford Mines." Mr.& Mrs.Lyle Nichols of Carleton Place and Mr. & Mrs.Beverly Nichols and family from Napanee recently visited with Mr.& Mrs... Howard Nichols. Mr .& Mrs .Tom Goldie visited over the weekend with the Lester McCuaig's and Bill Furlonger's. This is the first time Tom has been in Schreiber since I9I7. Archie Gleeson was called east last week by the sudden death of his father in Sheenboro, Ont. Mer- vyn Perrault accompanied Mr.Gleeson. Sandy Kragero and Geraldine McGrath are vaca- tioning in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto and Sudbury. Mr.& Mrs. Doug.McBride, Dianne and Carolyn of Kenora have returned home after visiting with Mrs. George and Mr.& Mrs.Ron McBride. Mr .& Mrs. J.M.McGrath and family are visiting in Eganville and other nearby points. Mr.& Mrs.Ron McBride, Ronnie and Geraldine, are vacationing in Kapuskasing and Kenora. Mr.& Mrs.Harvey Woods and Mr.& Mrs .Fred -- of Michigan are visiting old friends in town. Mr.& Mrs. A.B.Coghlan of Port Arthur are holi- daying with Mr.& Mrs.Wally Simon, bringing with them their grandson Kenny Coghlan of Minot, North Dakota for some fishing here. Mr.& Mrs. W.R.Burroughs and family have gone to Sherbrooke, Quebec for their holidays. Mrs .Geo .Smith of Victoria, B.C., is the dust of her daughter, Mrs. A.B.McCuaig. Mrs. Jack Rattray and nephew Clay Gordon visited in:the Lakehead this week. Visiting Corp. and Mrs. W.M.Duncan recently have been Mrs.John Duncan of Oakville, Bill Anderson of Stony Creek, mother and uncle of the Corporal--Rev. James S.Roe, Mrs.Roe, Jean and Eileen of Toronto, enroute to Vancouver, and Mr.& Mrs. Bill Peters of Illinois, whose home is where they park their trailer. Const.Keith Scott, Mrs.Scott and the family, with Keith 's mother, Mrs. Keith Scott and niece Margaret Anderson, of Hamilton Scotland, have just returned after a sight-seeing tour of Southern Ontario and the border States. Mr.& Mrs. Forbes Macadam returned to Winnipeg with their son Gordon and his family for a holiday there. Mrs. H.Welbourne has returned from hospital in Port Arthur. Her daughter-in-law, Mrs .Robert Wel- bourne and daughter Sharon of Montreal, are here for a visit. Hugh Stewart is in Terrace Bay Hospital. David Winters is in Pt.Arthur visiting his grand- mother, Mrs.A.Wood. Mrs .Joe Matheson and family are camping at the Lake - accompanied by Susan Caldwell. All are from Fort William. Mrs .Allan Nelson returned home recently after a month's illness in Port Arthur General Hospital . Mr.& Mrs. Richard Sheedy of Pettawawa are the guests of Mrs.John Spillane. The ladies are'sisters . Mrs .Fred Crawley, Grant and Beth have gone to Collingwood where Beth will attend the Crippled Children's Camp. Mrs. D.McLeod and son Donald have been visiting Mr.& Mrs. Bill Whent. Mr.& Mrs. Del Weberg, Cathy and Carol have returned from a vacation spent in Kenora and Eagle River. Mr, and Mrs, N. Joliceur, Lynn and Debra are holidaying with relations in Geraldton, Hearst, and points in that area. Mrs. 0.W. Lovelace, of Coldwater Ont. is visiting her daughter Mrs, H. Worrell. Paddy Bourguignon Jr. is a patient in Port Arthur Hospital. Edward Toews of Port Arthur is now manager of Lakehead Freightways, replacing Harold Harmer, The Toews have two small children, Kenny and Ronny. Mr. and Mrs. H, Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. J. Crump of Leamington are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Simon. Mr. and Mrs. T.P. Whent are spending the summer at their White River Camp where they play host to family and friends from southern Ontario. Mr. and Mrs. D. McCrimmon of Cornwall visite with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tuomi last week. Mrs. J. Cates and Miss Glenda Cates of Fort Frances are the guests of Mr. and Mrs.B. Glad. Mr, and Mrs. W. Chaterson and Mr. and Mrs. W. Kushnieryk and their families spent their holidays together at Winnipeg Beach. Mrs, Earl McCouan and daughter Eva Mary holidayed at Kakabeka Falls park, and Mr, and Mrs. John Power and family went to Chippewa Park for their vacation. Mrs. 0, St. Thomas, of Green Acres, Florida, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs, Austin Cosgrove, visiting also her mother Mrs, Catherine Cosgrove, and Mr, and Mrs, A. Verdoni. Miss Joyce Giddings, of Nipigon, Mrs. 0. Vollrath of Mattawa, and Mrs. I, Stewart, with her daughters Clara-Jean, Penny and Marjorie of Chalk River, visited with Mrs. Innes West this week. The three women are sisters, Mrs. Austin Cosgrove has just returned home after visiting her sister Mrs. E.D. McMullen i Flesherton, Ont. the pleasure double by having her sister, Mrs, Edward Gallagher, of California also there. Colleen and Mantell Cosgrove are visiting their sister, Mrs. Harold Sylven in Calgary. Miss Leona Frost, RN of Shoal Lake Man., and Glenn Willoughby of Fort William visited with Mr, and Mrs. E. Willoughby last week. Miss Frances Clarke was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. Sheffield last week while conducting Bible School Studies in Terrace Bay; Miss Clarke is with the Child Evangelism movement. Mr. and Mrs. Sheffield are spending their holidays with relations in Brockville and Woodbridge. During their absence the services in the Schreiber Mission will be conducted by Marshall Lawrence. Mrs. Helmut Frommann and Monica'will go to Winnipeg this week to return with Wolfgang who has been visiting with Ricky Cieciewa,
